MedicoRx Specialty Provider Services
The MTM program services for providers include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • A pharmacy care plan which highlights key issues, goals,
    and outcomes discussed during the consultations
  • Provider awareness of patient condition and progress
    within the MTM program through submission of data
    obtained from Therigy STM, CPR+, MHA CTM.

MedicoRx Specialty Program Benefit
Our Patient Management Program strategy is simple and effective:
to design and implement a pharmacy-based interventions for patients
taking specific specialty medications to treat high-cost medications
and high-impact conditions. Targeted conditions currently include,
but are not limited to:

  • Hepatitis C
  • IVIG
  • Oral and IV Oncology
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Co-infected patients
  • Home Infusion Care
  • IV antibiotics
  • TPN
  • Osteoporosis
  • Multiple Sclerosis

The overall Patient Management Program goals are to improve quality of life, promote self-management, improve and assist in medication adherence, and reduce the burden of high health care costs in managing chronic illness. Our financing team is dedicated to evaluating pharmacy and medical utilization and cost data. Our clinical team is dedicated to evaluating health outcomes related to medication adherence and quality of life. Our measurement techniques rely on industry-recognized tools for measuring these outcomes, such as Rock Pond, CPR+, Therigy STM, and MHA CTM. Program Duration MedicoRx Specialty Pharmacy’s Patient Management Program is is available to the patient throughout the entire course of therapy. Throughout treatment, patients will be provided with resources that are helpful in managing their health and medication therapy. These resources include verbal and written training material, patient consultations, tools to ensure adherence, and an overall integrated approach in keeping the patient, physician, and other pertinent healthcare personnel informed and up to date.
